The Dark Lord’s Apprentice by Whatever James

Three years in the making, I am really excited to share my most ambitious piece to date: The Dark Lord’s Apprentice

This piece is huge: Just shy of 25,000 stitches, 17 colors and over a foot tall! It is based on the art from the late nineties VHS box set. It came in gold and silver and I always thought it would look cool in red. I think after all this time, it does. My ultimate goal is a blue-hued companion piece of Darth Sidious that would be The Dark Lord’s Master…but that’s a couple of years away.

This is also the 100th post on Han Stitched First! A big thanks to the galaxy’s best fans and friends of the site for all your submissions, comments, likes and emails. The Disney era looks like it is off to a bright start with Rebels and Episode VII and I can’t wait to see what you all stitch next!
